Delhi, May 24 -- India's foreign policy approach is built on managing multiple strategic relationships without turning global diplomacy into a "zero-sum game," External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar said on Friday during a joint press conference with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

He underlined that India is among the few countries maintaining strong ties simultaneously with the United States, Israel, Iran, and Gulf nations, adding that this unique positioning comes with both opportunity and complexity.

"We don't look at it as a zero-sum game. We have to manage and take care of all these accounts," Jaishankar said, describing India's approach as one of "multi-alignment" driven by expanding national interests.
