New Delhi, Aug. 1 -- Congress general secretary in-charge communications Jairam Ramesh on Saturday launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of attempting to portray himself as a victim while avoiding accountability on issues ranging from alleged examination paper leaks to the handling of student protests and demonetisation.
In a post on social media platform X, Ramesh took exception to the Prime Minister's late-night video message in which Modi appealed for restraint and national unity and said he had forgiven the youth who had allegedly hurled personal abuses at him and his late mother during recent protests.
