New Delhi, Oct. 23 -- : Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of deliberately avoiding the upcoming Kuala Lumpur Summit to avoid a face-to-face encounter with US President Donald Trump.
Ramesh took to the social media platform X today to address the swirling speculation around Modi's attendance.
"For days, the big question has been-will he or won't he go? Now it seems clear that the PM won't be there. That's a missed chance for countless photo ops and to showcase himself as the 'Vishwaguru,'" Ramesh said pointedly.
