Kolkata, May 28 -- As a mark of grief over the Madhya Pradesh's Rewa hit-and-run incident, which took the lives of two sadhvis while crossing the road, the Sakal Jain Samaj in Kolkata will take out a silent rally on Saturday at 7:30 a.m.
The procession will begin from Shri Digambar Jain Bada Mandirji at Bysack Lane and move through several key routes in central Kolkata, including Kalakar Street, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Brabourne Road, Tea Board, Ezra Street, Bentinck Street, and Dharmatolla before culminating at Metro Channel, Esplanade, where community leaders will address the gathering. A delegation will thereafter proceed to Raj Bhavan to submit a representation to the Governor of West Bengal seeking urgent intervention.
