Hyderabad, July 8 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Working President T Jagga Reddy on Wednesday accused the BRS of playing politics over the Kaleshwaram project and challenged senior BRS leader T Harish Rao to accept Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's invitation for a debate in the Assembly.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, Jagga Reddy said Harish Rao, who handled the irrigation portfolio during the construction of the Kaleshwaram project, should take responsibility for the reported structural failures instead of blaming the Congress government. He questioned why former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was not attending the Assembly despite being invited by the Chief Minister to discuss the issue.
