New Delhi, July 10 -- Ayush Minister Pratap Rao Jadhav has urged Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta to include 20 per cent medicinal plants in the proposed eight theme-based forests being developed under the city's massive plantation drive rolled out recently, according to officials from the Ministry.
The minister made his request in a letter written to the Delhi CM, wherein he stated that at least 20 per cent of the plantation in the proposed eight forests be devoted to medicinal plant species, or that a minimum of two forests be developed as dedicated Medicinal Forests (Aushadhi Vans).
