Mumbai, June 5 -- Actor and producer Jackky Bhagnani shared emotional details from his personal life on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi's chat show "Double Date".
Accompanied by his wife, actress Rakul Preet Singh, Bhagnani spoke candidly about his childhood battle with obesity and the emotional impact of body shaming. He recalled an incident in which he was compared to wrestler Yokozuna during a conversation, which was deeply hurtful.
The 41-year-old actor said that while such comments may be made in jest, they have a lasting impact on his mental health. He also shared that his father refused to launch him as an actor in the same situation, which he initially found difficult, but later used as an inspiration for his transformation.
