Hyderabad, April 9 -- ixigo Trains and ConfirmTkt, India's AI-based train ticketing platforms, on Thursday announced a partner with Swiggy to offer on-train food delivery services, enabling passengers to order meals directly to their seats during train journeys.
Under the partnership, travellers can order fresh and hygienic meals from over 40,000 restaurant partners across 160-plus railway stations in the country, with real-time tracking and berth delivery options, the companies said in a release here.
Passengers will be able to browse curated menus featuring national brands and local favourites, allowing them to choose from familiar meals as well as regional specialities along their travel route.
