New Delhi, March 8 -- Extending greetings on the occasion of International Women's Day, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said there is a need for a fundamental shift in societal attitudes towards women.
In a message shared on his WhatsApp channel on Sunday, Yadav emphasised that genuine progress in gender equality would require big changes in thinking and behaviour within society.
"There is a need to fundamentally change our outlook towards women," he said, underscoring the importance of transforming long-standing social mindsets.
