Iran said it had carried out attacks on US military targets in Jordan, Kuwait, Iraqi Kurdistan and the UAE after the US military said Tuesday that it had struck Iranian targets, including air defence and mine-laying capabilities, in response to attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
