Jerusalem, Jan. 20 -- The Israeli military said that it struck a Hezbollah militant in a strike in the Zibqin area in southern Lebanon on Monday night.
It was not immediately clear if the person was killed. A military spokesperson told Xinhua that "the results of the attack are still under review."Earlier on Monday, the Israeli military said it launched a new wave of airstrikes across southern Lebanon, targeting what it described as multiple Hezbollah sites, including military facilities where Hezbollah conducted drills, tunnel shafts, and launch positions.
The statement claimed that the attacks were in response to what it called "repeated violations of the ceasefire understandings" by Hezbollah.
