Jerusalem/Tehran, March 1 -- In an assessment report by the IDF, Israel believes that Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was in all likelihood killed in an earlier strike today, according to Channel 12.
Citing unnamed Israeli sources, it says there are "growing indications" to this effect, though there is no official confirmation of the report.
The TV station had earlier reported that as per Jerusalem's assessment, Khamenei was most definitely "hurt at the very least," and that this was not one based on satellite imagery which showed the Supreme Leader's presidential compound being flattened, but rather on direct information received from anonymous sources.
