Tel Aviv, May 31 -- Israel has ordered the forced evacuation of residents south of the Zahrani River in southern Lebanon as it intensifies military operations in the country and advances toward the city of Nabatieh.
In a statement posted on social media platform X on Sunday, Israeli military Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee instructed civilians to immediately move north of the river, warning that anyone remaining in the designated area could be killed. The order follows more than 10 similar displacement warnings issued in the past 24 hours as Israel expands its ground operations.
