Panchkula, Aug. 26 -- Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab are likely to receive rain at isolated places throughout the next seven days, from August 26 to September 1, while heavier spells are expected over Uttarakhand and parts of Uttar Pradesh, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The IMD, however, has not issued any heavy rainfall warning for Haryana or Punjab in its All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin issued at 8 am on Wednesday. Its seven-day rainfall forecast shows only isolated rainfall over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Punjab each day from August 26 to September 1.
