Panchkula, Sept. 2 -- The India Meteorological Department has forecast isolated heavy rainfall over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh from September 2 to 5, while Uttarakhand may experience heavy rain throughout the seven-day forecast period.
According to the IMD's Wednesday morning bulletin, fairly widespread to widespread rainfall is likely over Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi on September 3 and 4. Isolated to scattered rain is expected over the region on September 2 and from September 5 to 8.
