Hyderabad, June 30 -- Officials of the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught an Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of the Irrigation Department allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 2 lakh in Bhadradri Kothagudem district.

According to an ACB statement issued on Tuesday, the accused, Latchubukta Srinivas Rao, Assistant Executive Engineer, Irrigation Sub-Division-I, Aswaraopeta, was caught red-handed on Monday during a trap laid by the ACB's Khammam Range officials at the office of the Deputy Executive Engineer, Irrigation Sub-Division-I, Aswaraopeta.
