Tehran, May 27 -- Iranian state television said Wednesday that the IRGC Navy allowed 23 vessels to transit the Strait of Hormuz, with its strict conditions for passage remaining fully in force.

"Today, 23 vessels that requested permission from the IRGC Navy to pass through the Strait of Hormuz received their permits," the report said.

"The IRGC Navy's conditions remain in place.
