Tehran, June 11 -- Iran is not involved in any new talks with the US as of this moment, according to an anonymous source close to the country's negotiating team.

Speaking to the country's semi-official IRGC-owned Fars News agency, the source dismissed the ongoing efforts by Qatari and Pakistani officials to mediate a deal between Washington and Tehran, largely considering any possibility of even reaching a deal akin to wishful thinking.

Quoting its source, Fars reported that the Islamic Republic had stuck to its positions throughout indirect negotiations, noting that draft memorandum of understanding tabled by Tehran had not been greenlit by the White House.
