New Delhi, April 20 -- Iran has rejected the second round of peace talks with the US, citing several reasons for its refusal to return to the negotiating table, including US blockade of Iranian ports.
In a related development, US seized an Iranian cargo ship that tried to ''breach'' the blockade. ''Fragile peace in West Asia, therefore, hangs by a slender thread.
Iran confirmed that the US Navy had ''attacked and seized'' an Iranian cargo vessel Touska in the Gulf of Oman, calling it a ceasefire violation. Iran also warned of retaliation.
Unconfirmed reports said Iran had launched drone attacks on the US ship.
