Bengaluru, April 5 -- Indian Oil Corporation Limited has stepped up Auto LPG supplies across Karnataka to meet rising demand triggered by ongoing geopolitical disruptions, even as closures of private dispensing outlets have strained availability in the market.

According to the company, Karnataka currently has 72 Auto LPG Dispensing Stations (ALDS) operated collectively by oil marketing companies, of which IOC runs 55 outlets. In contrast, over 300 ALDS are operated by private players; however, nearly 80 per cent of these private stations have become non-operational due to prevailing challenges.
