Tehran, July 6 -- Internet connection was restored in Iran after a major outage, local authorities have not yet provided an explanation for the situation, the NetBlocks Internet monitoring service reports.
On Sunday night, the service reported that a serious disruption to the Internet connection was recorded in Iran.
"Internet service has been largely restored in #Iran after a nation-scale disruption; authorities have not issued an explanation," the organisation said on X.
According to NetBlocks, the outage lasted for about two hours across the country.
