Mumbai, July 15 -- The Maharashtra Cabinet today approved the transfer of 558.43 hectares of land belonging to the dairy project at Dapchari in Dahanu taluka of Palghar district to the Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board.
An international-standard agricultural market, along with marketing-related infrastructure and facilities, will be developed at the site.
The project is expected to significantly benefit farmers from Palghar, Thane and adjoining areas.
