Mumbai, April 27 -- Ahead of the upcoming elections for nine seats of the Maharashtra Legislative Council (MLC), scheduled for May 12, a political storm is brewing within the ruling Shiv Sena led by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Even as the dust from the Baramati and Rahuri by-elections begins to settle, internal resentment is growing over the party's rumored candidate list.
