Itanagar, July 9 -- A day after inspecting flood damage in worst affected Keyi Panyor district, the Inter-Ministerial Central Team (IMCT) from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) today conducted an extensive assessment of flood-hit areas in Arunachal Pradesh's East Siang and Lower Siang districts to evaluate the damage caused by recent floods and appraise the requirement for additional central assistance.
The central team, led by Joint Secretary (MHA) Nishtha Tiwari, was accompanied by State's Disaster Management Secretary Dani Salu.
