Bhubaneswar, June 19 -- Raising concern over the condition of a statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose located within the Bhubaneswar Judicial Complex premises, INTACH Bhubaneswar chapter Convenor Anil Dhir alleged that the monument has remained damaged and neglected for years.
According to Dhir, the statue, which earlier stood within the old Bhubaneswar Court Complex precincts, was relocated during construction of the new judicial complex and placed in one corner of the premises with the understanding that it would be reinstalled after completion of the new building.
He claimed that the statue suffered damage during relocation and has since remained unattended.
