New Delhi, July 9 -- The Insurance Division of the Department of Financial Services (DFS) has secured the second position in the Group A category of the Grievance Redressal Assessment & Index (GRAI) for May 2026, while the Banking Division ranked sixth in the same category, according to rankings released by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
The achievement comes as the Department of Financial Services continues to handle a large volume of public complaints, receiving more than 2.5 lakh grievances annually. The department has consistently featured among the top 10 Ministries and Departments in the GRAI rankings since November 2025, reflecting sustained improvements in grievance redressal mechanisms.
