UNI SPECIALSnehal SenguptaKolkata, April 27 -- A drive down to Tangra's Chinatown for a family dinner or a tipple at one of the Chinese restaurants is a Kolkata ritual followed by many in the city.

Almost every weekend, people from all parts of the city and its outskirts head down to restaurants here, famed for their Tangra Style Chilli Chicken, Prawn Chips and noodles.

Tangra, however, is not only about the Chinese restaurants and one of the city's party hotspots. It is home to around 1000 families who migrated from China in the 1920s and 1930s.
