New Delhi, June 13 -- : Indian Naval Ship (INS) Tarkash, a stealth frigate of the Indian Navy, arrived at Port Victoria in Seychelles on June 12 as part of its ongoing operational deployment in the South West Indian Ocean Region, further underscoring the close maritime partnership between the two countries.
During its voyage, INS Tarkash escorted Seychelles Coast Guard vessel PS Zoroaster from India to Seychelles following the completion of the ship's refit at Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE), Kolkata. The escort mission reflected the enduring defence and maritime cooperation between New Delhi and Victoria, spanning shipbuilding, maintenance and operational collaboration.
