New Delhi, July 9 -- The Indian Naval Sail Training Ship (STS) INS Sudarshini concluded its port call at New York, USA, marking another milestone in the ongoing Lokayan 2026 transoceanic expedition aimed at showcasing India's maritime heritage and strengthening maritime and cultural ties with partner nations.
The indigenously built three-masted barque, deployed on a 10-month transoceanic voyage by the Indian Navy, represented India at the International Naval Review 250 and SAIL 4th 250 celebrations held to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States.
