New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- Forty volunteers from Delhi's Inner Wheel Club visited Aahwan, an initiative of the Army Women's Welfare Association (AWWA), to learn about its efforts to promote women's empowerment, vocational skills and economic self-reliance.
According to AWWA, the recent visit brought together members of the voluntary social service organisation and representatives associated with Aahwan for an exchange focused on community welfare and grassroots empowerment.
During the interaction, the Inner Wheel Club members were introduced to Aahwan's work in nurturing local craftsmanship and providing vocational training aimed at helping women develop skills and become more self-reliant.
