Wellington, Jan. 4 -- New Zealand's preparations for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup have been complicated by fitness concerns around Lockie Ferguson, with the fast bowler currently sidelined following a calf injury sustained in franchise cricket.
According to ICC, Ferguson was forced off during an ILT20 match in Dubai last month and was subsequently ruled out for the remainder of the tournament.
The setback has also ruled him out of action for the Big Bash League, raising uncertainty over his availability for the T20 World Cup.
