Kolkata, Nov. 5 -- After skipping police summons for the last three days, former West Bengal Minister Indranil Sen's daughter Averi on Thursday appeared before detectives at Lalbazar and was quizzed for hours in connection with alleged corruption involving the unauthorised use of the UNESCO's name.

On Wednesday, Averi was sent a second notice from the city police headquarters for appearing before investigators. Sources said Lalbazar was planning to approach the court for issuing an arrest warrant against her if she continued to play truant.
