Jakarta, June 10 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is expected to visit Russia on June 17 to participate in the Russia-ASEAN Summit in Kazan, Indonesian Deputy Foreign Minister Arrmanatha Nasir Oegroseno said on Wednesday.
Speaking to reporters at the presidential palace in Jakarta , Oegroseno said Prabowo plans to attend the summit but noted that the visit schedule is still being finalized and could change.
"The schedule always remains flexible. This happens all the time. Some guests who planned to attend ultimately cancel their trips due to various circumstances in their own countries," he said.
Oegroseno added that Indonesia is still awaiting the official programme from the summit secretariat.
