Jakarta, June 24 -- Indonesia's resort island of Bali will soon build one of the most complete sports tourism centers in Southeast Asia, according to Youth and Sports Minister Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo on Tuesday.

The development has begun with the construction of an international-standard racket sports complex in the South Kuta sub-district of Badung Regency, Bali.

The project is initiated and financed by the private sector. The minister, commonly known as Dito Ariotedjo, made the statement after directly reviewing the construction site during his visit to the 2025 Asian Fencing Championship held in Bali.
