Thiruvananthapuram, Nov. 5 -- In a first-of-its-kind initiative in India, an Indo-German Training Fair will be held between January and February 2026 to facilitate vocational training placements in Germany.
The programme will offer economically disadvantaged candidates a monthly stipend of Rs 1 lakh, enabling access to high-quality skill development opportunities overseas, sources said.
A 27-member German investors' delegation visited Kerala on October 24-25, holding discussions with government and industry representatives. The delegates expressed interest in collaborating across priority sectors including technology, skill development, mobility, and economic investment.
