Hyderabad, July 19 -- Telangana Revenue, Housing and Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Sunday said the Indiramma Housing Scheme would continue until every eligible homeless poor family in the state is provided with a permanent house.

He asserted that the scheme is not a one-time programme but an ongoing commitment of the Revanth Reddy government.

Reviewing arrangements for the launch of the Indiramma LIG Housing programme under CURE at the State Secretariat on Sunday, the Minister said the government had sanctioned 4.5 lakh Indiramma houses in the first phase, of which nearly two lakh have already been completed, while construction of the remaining houses is progressing rapidly.
