Mumbai, Nov. 15 -- IndiGo and Akasa Air have officially announced that their respective flight operations will commence from the new Adani-owned Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) from December 25.

It may be recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated Phase-1 of the NMIA which was constructed at a cost of Rs 19,650 crore, on October 8, 2025.

IndiGo announced that its flight operations will begin from NMIA from December 25 with domestic air services to 10 cities across India including Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, North Goa (Mopa), Jaipur, Nagpur, Cochin, and Mangalore, from December 25.
