New Delhi, Feb. 11 -- In a significant advancement for remote surgical care in India, a team of surgeons has successfully performed a series of complex robotic procedures across a distance of over 1,200 kilometers. The telesurgeries, conducted from Vapi, Gujarat, were completed on patients at New Delhi's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

The procedures, performed using a Mizzo Endo 4000 robotic system, included four urology and general surgeries executed within a 24-hour period. The technique relies on secure, high-speed, ultra-low latency connections to allow surgeons precise, real-time control from a remote console.
