New Delhi, June 11 -- Indian stock markets on Thursday ended lower in a highly volatile session. Nifty 50 close below the 23,200 mark amid broad-based selling across sectors, and taking fresh cues from the United States (US) fresh attack on Iran.

At close, the Sensex was down 150.63 points or 0.20 percent at 73,832.55, and the Nifty was down 53.35 points or 0.23 percent at 23,161.60.

Among the sectors, private bank, media, pharma were up, while IT index shed 1.4percent, PSU Bank, Realty, Energy, Consumer Durables were laggards.

On Nifty, the stocks ending in green were M&M followed by ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, JSW Steel, Sun Pharma and Bharti Airtel. Nearly 38 stocks ended in the red. These included Infosys, HCL Technologies, Adan...
