New Delhi, May 20 -- Indian rowers Balraj Panwar and Babu Lal Yadav are confident that with improved infrastructure and greater exposure the Indian rowing team will come up with an improved medal haul in the forthcoming prestigious tournaments like the Asian Games.
In an online media interaction facilitated by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) on Wednesday, Balraj, who represented India in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, said that till date rowing sports have yielded India just two gold medals, but now that will change at the Aichi Nagoya Asian Games 2026.
"Not merely a third gold medal, I think a 4th or 5th gold is likely this time around, with the kind of intense training we have had right from the basics to the advanced level," sa...
