Lucknow, June 12 -- The Indian REITs Association (IRA) on Friday organised its first REIT awareness programme in Lucknow to educate investors about Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and their potential as an investment option.
The programme forms part of IRA's ongoing efforts to increase awareness of REITs and promote a better understanding of this emerging asset class among investors.
REITs are regulated investment vehicles that own and operate income-generating commercial real estate assets such as premium office buildings and shopping centres.
