New Delhi, Oct. 19 -- The Indian Navy will focus on accelerating the transition of indigenous defence innovations into operational capabilities, with advanced technologies, faster development and continuous improvement of military systems set to feature prominently at the fifth edition of its flagship Naval Innovation and Indigenisation Seminar, Swavlamban 2026, scheduled for October 26-27 in the national capital.
Vice Chief of the Naval Staff (VCNS) Vice Chief of Naval Staff (VCNS) Vice Admiral Ajay Kochhar, said the seminar, to be held at the Manekshaw Centre, would bring together the Navy, industry, start-ups, academia and investors to develop homegrown solutions for emerging maritime security challenges.
