Bose, one of the pioneers of modern Indian art and a key figure of Contextual Modernism. was a disciple of Abanindranath Tagore and served as the Principal of Kala Bhawan in 1921.
The elderly couple - Suprabuddha Sen and his wife Deepa Sen - have expressed their anger and frustration over their names being excluded from the list despite furnishing all necessary documents.
