Agartala, Jan. 16 -- Tripura's Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Friday claimed that the Indian banking system is globally recognised for its strength and credibility after inaugurating a new ATM and automatic passbook printing facility of Tripura Gramin Bank at Sidhai Mohanpur here.
He mentioned that there is a noticeable trend of modernisation as people are increasingly utilising ATM cards for cash withdrawals and deposits, particularly among Gramin Bank users.
He highlighted the convenience of accessing cash and obtaining mini statements through ATMs, as well as the ability to print and update bank passbooks without visiting a branch.
