Itanagar, July 19 -- The Indian Army's Gajraj Corps on Sunday organised a grand Yak Mela at Groleteng, located at an altitude of nearly 15,000 feet near the sacred Taktsang Gonpa, celebrating the rich cultural heritage and resilient spirit of the Brokpa community.
The event was attended by General Officer Commanding (GOC), 5 Mountain Division, Major General Amit Nautiyal, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Tawang Rinchin Leta, Commander of Tawang Brigade Brigadier Bhupal Singh, senior Army officers, civil administration officials, representatives of paramilitary forces, Gaon Burahs and members of the Brokpa community.
