New Delhi, May 21 -- India reinforced its growing profile as a key global security partner with a high-level Indian Armed Forces delegation participating in the prestigious SOF Week 2026 held in Tampa, Florida, USA.
In a statement issued here today, the army spokesperson said that the delegation was led by Lieutenant General Pushpendra Pal Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Command, who is also the seniormost serving Special Forces officer of the Indian Armed Forces. India's participation in one of the world's foremost Special Operations events highlighted its commitment towards strengthening multilateral defence cooperation and enhancing interoperability with partner nations.
