New Delhi, Aug. 9 -- The Indian Navy and the US Navy will conduct a five-day Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) exercise at the Southern Naval Command in Kochi from August 10 to 14, aimed at enhancing interoperability and strengthening cooperation between their specialist diving and EOD teams.

The bilateral exercise will feature subject matter expert exchanges, cross-training sessions, equipment demonstrations and scenario-based practical drills. The programme will provide personnel from both navies an opportunity to share contemporary EOD techniques, emerging technologies and operational best practices.
