New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- India has launched a Clouded Leopard Conservation Action Plan (CAP), outlining measures to protect the elusive wild cat through habitat restoration, scientific monitoring, and community-based conservation across Northeast India, officials from the Environment Ministry said on Tuesday.
The action plan, prepared under the Government of India-GEF-UNDP initiative, was released during the 91st meeting of the Standing Committee of the National Board for Wildlife (SCNBWL) held in Coimbatore in the second week of July.
