New Delhi, March 1 -- India will participate in the first Youth Delphic Games to be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan later this month.

The Indian contingent will include 41 young artists - including 21 from Delhi, 10 from Himachal Pradesh, four from Karnataka and one each from Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Uttarakhand and Haryana. The Indian team will leave for Bishkek on March 22.

Modern Pythian Games founder Bijender Goyal said in a press conference on Sunday, "For the first time in history, I am sending a team of officially organized national youth artists to participate in the first Youth Delphic Games (SCO member countries).
