New Delhi, July 7 -- India will host the two-day BRICS Women Ministerial Meeting in Kochi, Kerala, from July 8, Wednesday, bringing together heads of delegations from BRICS member countries to strengthen cooperation and advance a shared agenda for women-led development.

The high-level meeting will focus on promoting women's empowerment and reaffirming the commitment of BRICS nations towards inclusive, resilient and sustainable development.

According to the Ministry of Women and Child Development, India's BRICS Chairship is anchored in four key pillars, Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability, with the BRICS Women Track designed to advance women's empowerment across each of these areas.
